  • What are your candles made of?
    Each candle is made from a soy-coconut wax with a lead-free cotton wick, and formulated with a blend of natural & clean synthetic fragrances.
  • Are your candles non-toxic and cruelty free?
    Our candles are non-toxic, and free of parabens, sulphates, phthalates and mineral oils, and are vegan + cruelty free.
  • Is your packaging eco-friendly?
    All materials are eco-friendly! Here's a breakdown. Packaging: * Packing peanuts are bio-degradable and dissolve in water * Packing paper is made from FSC paper * Shipping box is made of recyclable cardboard Product: * Product bags are made from vegan faux suede material intended for repurposing * All jars are made of thick glass and intended for repurposing * All candle covers are made from recycled linen paper * All candle labels are made from recycled paper
  • What are your labels made of?
    Our labels are made of recycled paper and are professionally printed at Avery. All labels feature a hand drawn illustration of the inspiration behind the scent. Labels can be removed when repurposing vessels.
  • Where are your candles made?
    All of our candles are made in Winter Park, FL, USA and hand poured in small batches to ensure care and quality.
  • What candle vessels do you use?
    We only choose thick walled glass vessels for our candle line because we love the repurposing options available! These are perfect for repurposing into a drinking glass, a flower vase, or any other creative solution.
  • Why are there wet spots in my candle?
    You may see what looks like a wet spot in your candle but they are actually spots caused by shrinkage and air bubbles that occur as the wax is going through a drastic change in temperature. This could happen during the cooling process after a candle is hand poured, or when the temperature changes on a delivery truck on its way to you, etc. Rest assured, these spots are extremely common and will not affect the performance of your candle in any way!
  • My candle has some hang-up on the side after I burned it. Is that normal?
    Yes! It is not uncommon to have ‘hang-up,’ or wax remaining on the side of the container, after the first or second burn. Rest assured, it will ‘catch up’ on the third burn and beyond! We prefer this to keep the temperature stable and contained so that the vessel never gets too hot!
  • Do you do wholesale or custom orders?
    Yes, we can do wholesale orders and custom candles for any event! Please reach out at hello@dohuhm.com or fill out the contact form with more details!
  • Can I return my candle?
    Of course! Candles eligible for return must be unused, and in their original condition and packaging. Please email hello@dohuhm.com within 15 days of receiving your order to start the process. If you are unsatisfied with your candle at any point, please email us with the reason and your order #. We'd love to help turn things around.
  • Can I exchange my candle?
    Of course! Candles eligible for exchange must be unused, and in their original condition and packaging. Please email hello@dohum.com within 30 days of receiving your order to start the process!
  • What is your shipping policy?
    Standard Shipping is FREE for orders totaling $99 or more within the U.S. Expedited shipping options are available and can be selected at check out. All shipping rates are calculated at checkout!
  • Do you ship internationally?
    As of now, we only ship domestically. However, we hope to expand and offer international shipping as we continue to grow!
  • How long will it take to get my order?
    As a small team of one, we do our best to ship out most orders within 3-5 business days after purchase. During sales, new product drops, and holiday season, please allow 5-7 business days for orders to be processed! Orders are shipped via USPS and most usually arrive within 5 business days after being scanned into the carrier's system. To note: In summer months (June - August), we will only be shipping out orders on Monday - Wednesday to avoid our candles sitting on delivery trucks in the extreme heat temperatures for long periods of time.   • I can't seem to find my order/tracking confirmation emails?
    Oh no! If you're unable to locate your order or tracking confirmation emails, please first check your spam or junk folder in your email account. Sometimes, these types of emails may end up there! If you still can't find them, please reach out to us at hello@dohuhm.com or fill out the contact form with any relevant information on hand so we can quickly locate your order and provide you with the necessary tracking information!
